The Dear Santa collection was inspired by the Christmas memories that feel the most magical — treasured holiday traditions, vintage decorations pulled out year after year, and the childlike excitement of writing a letter to Santa. Born from a lifelong love of collecting vintage Christmas elves and Santa mugs, every detail draws from the charm of Christmases past: nostalgic bottle brush trees, Shiny Brite-style ornaments, vintage postcards, and cheerful North Pole signage.
Every tile was thoughtfully designed to tell a piece of that story — the bams become vintage-inspired bottle brush trees, the dots glisten with colorful ornaments hung from evergreen branches, the craks are framed in gorgeous holiday wreaths, and the Jokers feature a collection of mischievous vintage elves, each tucked inside a nostalgic postage stamp like a letter on its way to Santa.

Please note that all tile sets are produced in limited runs and ship on a pre-order basis. Estimated delivery windows are listed on each individual product page and are estimates only — they are not guaranteed delivery dates. Because our collections may travel through international production and customs channels, occasional delays outside of our control can occur. By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and accept that shipping timelines may shift due to manufacturing, freight, or customs-related delays.
Orders will ship as soon as inventory becomes available. Items within the same order may ship separately depending on availability. As soon as your order ships, tracking information will automatically be emailed to you. While we are always happy to assist, our customer service team does not have access to additional shipping updates beyond the estimated timelines provided until inventory has officially arrived and begun fulfillment.

At Anders Ruff Design Co., we are committed to exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and beautiful quality in every collection we create.
Due to the nature of the production process, slight variations or small imperfections may naturally occur from tile to tile. These subtle details are cosmetic only and do not affect gameplay, functionality, or the overall integrity of the set. In many ways, they are part of what makes each collection uniquely beautiful.
Upon initial unwrapping, a light residue from the manufacturing process may occasionally be present. This can easily be removed with a soft, clean cloth and will not impact gameplay or finish quality.
While we strive to represent products as accurately as possible, colors, patterns, and finishes may appear slightly different in person due to screen settings, lighting, photography editing, and production variations.
All website images are representative of the product, but minor differences may be present in the final item received.
Care Instructions
Your Mahjong Tiles are designed to be both beautiful and lasting. To keep them looking their best:
• Store your set in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity
• Avoid leaving tiles in hot cars or damp environments, as extreme temperatures and moisture may cause fading or warping over time
• Wipe tiles gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth
• For deeper cleaning, use a lightly damp microfiber cloth, then dry immediately
• Avoid soaking tiles, and steer clear of harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive materials
• Store tiles in the included case when not in use to prevent scratching.
Tile Return Policy
Our Mahjong tile sets are thoughtfully designed collectible pieces and become final sale once opened.
We gladly accept returns on unopened tile sets within 7 days of delivery provided that:
- Tiles remain sealed in original shrink wrap
- All original accessories, inserts, dice, pouches, and packaging are included
- The set is returned unused and in original condition
Approved tile returns are subject to:
- A $35 restocking fee
- Customer-paid return shipping costs
Opened tile sets are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@andersruff.com with:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
Once reviewed, our team will determine the best resolution, which may include a replacement tile, replacement set, store credit, or refund.
For active collections, replacement tiles may be available based on inventory. Retired collections or discontinued designs may have limited replacement availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Please note:
- All tile return requests must be approved prior to shipping items back to us.
- Returns sent without authorization may be refused.
- We are not responsible for carrier shipping delays, lost packages marked as delivered, or incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout.
Orders placed through boutiques, retailers, Etsy, TikTok Shop, Amazon, or other third-party sellers must be handled directly through the original place of purchase. Anders Ruff Design Co. is unable to process refunds or exchanges for third-party orders.
