How do printables work? Once I order a printable design, then what happens?
Once you place your order and payment has been received, our design team begins customizing your products (if customization is included in the item purchased).  Once finished, your digital printable file will be sent to your email. Right click on the link and download the file(s) to save to your computer.  From there you can open the file in Adobe Acrobat (free download at www.adobe.com) and print at home or bring it to a local print shop for printing. We include instructions to help assist you with your printables.  

Can you print my order?
We only offer professional printing services for our 5x7 and 4x8 designs. Our card listings display professional printing service options and pricing. If you order printing, you will receive a proof to review and approve before we send it to our printer. Prints will be processed within 1 business day and then sent with 2 day shipping (shipping is $9.50).

We currently do not offer printing for our printable packages or coordinating designs. You will receive a PDF file of those items that include instructions and ideas for use.  We recommend printing those designs at home on an inkjet printer on photo paper or at a local printer (Office Max, Staples, Kinkos, etc) on bright white cardstock.

What is the turnaround time for customized printables?
Our standard turnaround time for emailed printable designs is within 3 (three) business days for customized orders, unless you select and purchase our Rush turnaround service (24 hours) from the shop listing.  We also have items in our shop that are not customized and are specified as “Instant Downloads”.  You will be able to download those files instantly from your order confirmation email.

Can I type in my text or edit the designs once I receive them?
All of our designs are sent as locked protected PDF files and are copyrighted. They can be opened with Adobe Acrobat. They cannot be resized, altered or edited except by Anders Ruff.  

How can I add text to my blank party labels?
We offer a text customization service to add text to our blank party label designs.  The listing is located in our shop by searching for “text customization”. Or you can print the labels blank, use Powerpoint or Word to line up your text and print over the already printed blank label sheet.

Do you take custom design orders?
Yes! We love custom projects but our availability is dependant on Maureen and Adria’s availability, the type of design requested, and the volume of custom orders we currently have open. Please contact us with questions! sales@andersruff.com

What if I need changes to my design?
We strive to make sure the information we customize on our printable designs is accurate and matches the information you submit. Any errors or typos made by us will be corrected and sent back to you as quickly as possible.  Due to the nature of the product, it is the client's responsibility to review and check all spelling, details and information on the designs before printing.  We are happy to fix the designs to reflect accurate party information.  Please review the designs carefully.  Once a design is approved and receipt is confirmed through Anders Ruff, print mistakes are the client's responsibility.  If printing through our professional printing service, we will only send the invitation to print once the client approves the design.

How do I know what file type to choose for my invitation?
Choose JPG if you plan to print it out individually at a photo processing facility, or email it to others as an attachment. Choose PDF if you plan to print at home or at a print shop onto cardstock. Our PDF files are formatted for standard 8.5"×11" paper. When you place your order, please specify which file type you prefer. 

Can you customize the colors of a product from your shop?
Please email sales@andersruff.com with any specific change requests before ordering so we can provide you with a quote. We do offer customization and color changes for most items for an additional fee (beginning at $9).
